BIRDWATCHING IN COMACCHIO

The Po Delta Park covers 54,000 hectares spread over 9 municipalities in the provinces of Ferrara and Ravenna. It is made up of various environments, ranging from the residual dunes along some stretches of the coastline to the green expanse of the Mesola Woods; from the evocative nature trails along its rivers to the ancient pinewoods; from the endless expanses of brackish water in the Comacchio Valleys and the Sacca di Goro to the freshwater valleys of Argenta and Ostellato, areas where numerous bird species find food and shelter.
